    The Olympic torch’s security team got to grips with a cyclist, who according to police “attempted to enter the security bubble around the torchbearer.”

    As if a child on a BMX would get far with the Olympic torch if he grabbed it, I hope he claims damages. :p

    Yeah, looks like a big overreaction alright. The only thing you don't know is that maybe he'd had words with the kid beforehand or had told the kid to keep back, but the kid decided to be blatantly defiant instead.
