    Hi all,

I have recently become obsessed with this drink, or with wanting to knock together my own batch, having had a couple of bastardised versions around town...

I'm trying to balance cost with taste here, so am wondering if any folks have come up with a good mix? Also, any ideas on the best place to pick up the respective ingredients?

    So far I'm looking at:
Heering Cherry Brandy or other (Celtic Whiskey Shop, 26 quid)
    Gin, 20 quid
    Pineapple juice
    Grenadine (Where?, c. fiver)
Sour mix (homemade, some good recipes online)
    Club soda?
    Maraschino cherries? (where?)

Any other ideas? Is Cointreau Orange, Herbal liquer etc. essential?

    Thanks in advance!
