hey guys, I've recently taken up golf and I'm looking to buy a second hand golf set, either callaway or titleist.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any golf retailers that specialise in secons hand clubs or are known to sell second hand clubs of those brands?

    Thanks very much.

Talk to Joe or Dereck at Celbridge driving range. They will give good advice and have a good selection. You can even try them out on the range before buying.

If we knew what part of the country it might help! Adverts is a great place to start.

Golfstyle in galway have a decent enough selection of second-hand gear as well. I had a set of cobra's starting off and they were very forgiving

Any of the Callaway X series are good starting clubs. Should be able to get a set of X 14s for about €100.

The amount of second hand clubs in store has fallen dramatically in recent years, with people selling their own clubs on line, best bet as Kace stated Golfbidder, donedeal or Adverts.

Stay away from the X14 pros or the rifle shafts if starting out.
Standard X14 with non rifle shafts are a good club too and not as difficult to hit.

Cheers lads. Thanks for bringing golfbidder to my attention. Its more than what I was looking for, I don't have to do any of the leg work! Thanks again.
