I have had clearwire (which i never had a problem with) for years and when they changed to wimax i continued on with them , the service has gotten steadily worse, slower and slower , I don't download much torrent stuff, but have had enough and would like to switch to someone else. Is there something better that won't cost a fortune ? I pay around 40 euros a month but its not even worth that. p.s i am in south dublin.

Do you have a landline or a cable connection?
If so try Vodafone or UPC

UPC is the best internet if you can get it. Generally much faster than anything by phone line or wireless. You can get it without the TV service

Smart Telecom do arguably the best balance of quality and price, 24MB adsl & phone for €30 a month

The problem is that it might not be available on your exchange
