I've 2 dogs, a lab and a gsdx. Both great friendly dogs but can be dog aggressive on lead sometimes. It all depends on the initial first contact each day. Once they sniff around and play with a dog they're grand but if they see a dog across the road and I have them on lead they tend to go for it and that keeps them on edge then for the whole walk. Where they meet other dogs close up and sniff and play they're relaxed then and tolerate other dogs for the rest of the walk. They had a great day playing with a staffe and a boxer today, yesterday they were snappy because they only seen dogs from afar and they wanted to bark and lunge at them.

Socialising seems to be a daily thing with them, which is a pain in the arse because the first encounter, positive or negative sets their reactions for the whole walk.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in pack walking or off lead playing, letting each others dogs mix and get use to each other, hopefully socialising them better. It's not always easy to mix with other dogs, especially when yours tend to over react before the other dog even comes close.

I'm in the D.11 area so pm if anyone wants to give it a go. I'm also happy to work with other dog aggressive dogs. (when I say dog aggressive I simply mean pulling and barking when on lead, they always get on with dogs once they meet).
