Normally when I get it I can fill in the "show us the places you looked for work in" no problem but this time I can probably get about 4 or 5 at most.

There just aren't any jobs for someone with no experience really that I could find.
I've got about a week and a half left but does anyone know what'll happen if I only put down 5 or 6 places instead of filling all 12 or 14 spaces what'll happen? Will I get cut off or will I have to explain when I couldn't fill it all in or what?

If i was you I would get to FAS and put your name down for courses that interest you, in order to get some training and experience. Bring these also with your Jobsearch material to show that you are at least trying to upskill.

    Hi
my husbands just had his and put down 5 jobs that he had applied for in the past 5 weeks or. so. When he went to hand it back into the local socialwelfare office the lady there said he was doing better than most as most of the forms she had seen recently only had 1 or 2 jobs on them.

Personally I find question 16 amusing (the one about why you have been unsuccessful in getting work) - You can tell the form was written in 2007 pre recession.

If 1 or 2 seems to be the average then i'm not feeling so bad. Everyone shop around me is saying no to CVs so I can't put them down and there's little online.

I'll try at at least two down fro mthe top of my head. It's only 7 slots they have you fill in but still, even getting one that actually accepted a CV is hard.

    thanks for the advice all
