I'd hang on for the Google/Asus Nexus 7.It's the reason why retailers are panicing as they have stock of older, lower spec & more expensive tablets that will not shift once the Nexus 7 hits the streets!

It's priced at US$199 for the 16gb version, how Asus managed to get it down to that price given its specs, is anyone's guess, but its rumoured Google are subsidising the units to try to gain market share.

$250 for 16, 200 for the 8.

Ok- we're not in the initial release group- the UK are however- and its £199 sterling for the 16Gb version (they are not selling the 8Gb version). DSG are the partners for selling this (Currys, PC World, Dixons etc)
It doesn't have a card slot- so the 16Gb is the only of interest here tbh.

Anyhow- we need a separate thread for the Nexus 7
