TV Advice - What would you spend your €500 on?

    Am a bit of a loss here, so am asking your advice!

    I have about €500 (ish) to spend on a TV, and am looking for something that's full HD (to enjoy the full scope of PS3 gaming) and looking for something that's in and around 40" ... what should I buy?!

    I've no interest in Smart TV's as I feel I'd be paying for something I don't utilise. I have a bit of a lean towards Philips, but it's only cos I've had positive expereinces (in terms of reliability) before.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated! :)
