Infinity ST2000HD Combo USB PVR

    Hey all,

    My dad got one of these and asked me to get him a USB and set up the recording for him. Got the USB followed all the instructions and the feckin thing won't record.

    Won't record when I press the record button, and won't record if I set up the timer. Just says recording failed, try again in thirty seconds, the box does recognise the USB and will open it in the media player.

    There is nothing on the USB, it's a brand new 64GB stick. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers.

    Make sure the dongle is formatted to suit the box. Many still use FAT32

    Just wanted to report back, I found some czech site which I translated (thank you chrome) and someone on there said they had one of these boxes and indeed they apparently will only work with FAT32, found a great program which formatted it in literally seconds, so will give it a go tomorrow and fingers crossed it will work.
