How to Set Privacy on my Facebook "CHECK INS" So only some mates can see where i am!

    Hi all, So I have been going nuts all last night trying to set up the privacy options for Facebook CHECK IN.
    Basically when im on my smart phone and i check in to a place I only really want a certain few people to know and not everyone on my facebook. Where is this setting on facebook? I even switched to facebook timeline thinking it was an updated version with more options. I have looked on the net and it looks like some others people different versions with different options screens where they actually CAN edit who sees their check in but weirdly enough i cant see these options on my facebook version!?:confused: What am i doing wrong. Im sure i have been in every single setting page and cant find any reference to check ins
    When i follow the instructions on the below link the facebook in its sample pics also looks nothing like mine.
