How not to warp my battery.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and spent quiet a bit on it. On all my other mobiles I've managed to warp the battery so badly that I've needed to charge it all night just to get maybe a day (If I was lucky) out of it.

The battery on my new phone is great so far, but I don't want it to end up like all my other phones.

Any tips on how not to warp the battery and keep it as good as it is now for the lifetime of the phone?

    Thanks :)
