Keypad sticking when typing in certain websites

I am experiencing an annoying problem while using a chat facility in certain websites or even typing in Google Translate, whereas typing here now is fine. Mainly I notice the problem while playing Zynga poker via Facebook and typing in the chat box with other players. Loads of letters miss from my typing and I have to go back over the message to correct it. It takes 5 or 6 strikes on the letter on the keypad to get it to appear in the chatbox. The keypad itself is fine. It is working perfectly as I type this message. So has anybody any experience of this and any ideas of the cause and possible solutions?

I use Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop with Internet Explorer 9.

    Thanks for any advice.

Could be the laptop's speed/power itself.

Running flash using Internet Explorer 9 could be taking up alot of your processing power.
Try switching to Chrome and see if its any faster.

Also try downloading the newest drivers for your laptop

Thanks for that too. I did run a check on my driver status thru Toshiba and it said my drivers were up to date. I am just concerned that the problem might be caused by a virus or something, altho my anti-virus is up to date and has not reported anything malicious.

Thanks again for your help and advice folks.

No i wouldn't say it would be a virus tbh.
When on Zynga Poker, do you notice any other parts of the laptop slower than usual, ie. opening new tabs, opening a new program, ?

Try Malwarebytes - Direct Link to download and update their definitions, and run a quick scan.

Spybot S&D (Longer scan times, but is an excellent program)

I'm suggesting these because you think it may be "that the problem might be caused by a virus or something" - If you think you have a virus, then check.
All Antivirus programs do not (Even up to date) detect everything another program will.

Definitely run this before scan (It may ask you to restart - Depending on junk it finds) - TFC - (It'll clear the junk out before scanning.)

Even though your drivers appear up to date, download the newest ones from the website, in case any are corrupt.

Your version of Flash may be corrupt, uninstall it using a good uninstaller, Try Revo and scan afterwards. Also scan for junk files, then re-install the newest version.

Adobe haven't really done much with Flash (On the player side of things) since version 8, so if it suits you (If it works for Zynga, and you're not a big flash Game player), try ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 10 (Decent build).
If not, update it after you have tried it out.

Have you checked what is running in the background, when you have these problems?

Try stopping a load of Useless start up programs, and programs that you don't need to startup with your PC.. E.G. iTunes, Java Updater, Adobe Arm, DivX updater etc..

They don't need to start with the PC.
