    Hi,

Been having a few problems with our Amstrad DRX890. I thought it might be software related but the new software/epg hasn't solved the problem. Is 0802 the correct Input 1 Transfer Stream for the Republic of Ireland?

The symptoms are basically that recordings will fail quite often, the box will freeze intermittently, live pause works on ittermittently and we get a 'No signal' error on quite a few channels (all of the Irish channels and, from memory, channels like Paramount).

I've tried all of the troubleshooting steps I can think of (planner rebuild, power cycling, updating software, system restore, lnb reset).

    Thanks.

No signal means a weak signal. Have you checked signal strength. If it is the same on input 1 and 2 it is a dish problem. If the signal on input 1 and 2 is different then it may be a cabling problem.

Most likely you dish is slightly mis-aligned
