New Youtube layout problem

Since the overhaul of the android youtube app, the channel feed now contains "all activity" from subscriptions (Rated, commented, favouited etc...), rather than just uploads. Anyone know how to set this to uploads only??

I think that's to do with the way you subscribe to the channel.

For example, when you subscribe to a channel on the desktop it will ask if you want to sucbscribe to videos or all activity.

I only subscribe to videos so my channel feed just gives me videos, and as you've seen there's no option to edit that, so I assume it's the way you subscribe in the first place; I could be wrong though.

Try going here: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_manager?feature=subhead

You can hover over the subscribe button and edit what appears and that could stop it from appearing on the mobile app.

I do subscribe the way you described on the web version. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Not sure there's an option for the mobile version.

Yeah that's strange, mine only gives me videos, no activity.

That's pretty crap, I can only imagine it's annoying having to sift through all the activity. Strange that it's only happening for you. I'll keep looking around and if I find a way then I'll come back and let you know.
