First Year Arts Economics and Geography books

    Would anybody know what course books are used for 1st year Economics and Geography? I left the course back in 2004 but I am returning to NUIG this September and would like to try and refresh my memory before then :)

    I just finished 3rd year Economics and I'm pretty sure the main textbook used was Mankiw & Taylor - Economics. We used it for micro anyway, not sure about macro but it's a good textbook anyway for beginners so I'd recommend that. Expensive though so try 2nd hand!

    When I did first year, I went and bought the books. I only ever opened it twice in the year. TBH, its not necessary for first year and you can get resources online for free.

    the economics book is the one co-written by get turley and the geography one is green and cream? i dunno if you have them already....If you don't, i can get you the names, there're just upstairs now and I'm too lazy to walk there :L
