    Hi Everyone,

Moving to Portlaoise to live in Kilminchy, I'm using UPC 25mb service here in Dublin, they have no service in that area, all cable broadband providers I've spoken to have said that lines in the Kilminchy exchange are limited to 7mb download speed. Digiweb/smart are offering me a business package with 30mb download/3mb upload and a 200gb limit, has anybody had experience with their metro service, I've done a search but most threads are a few years old. Any recomendations for quick wireless broadband?

    Thanks all in advance

We've used Smart before, 8mbps package, was pretty good and no issues with downtime.

Some parts of Kilminchy can get UPC Broadband. Its very good. I have 30mbs and never any issues with it.

Eircom is good in Kilminchy, the exchange is located within the estate so distance to the exchange is short meaning decent speeds. Getting about the most out of the 7.6Mbps connection (exchange is only enabled for ADSL1) i have (approx 6.5Mbps) which does me.
