I'll be shocked if this hasn't been asked yet but how do I stop these posts appearing on my feed? You know the one's - They show a pic of some poor sick kid that they probably robbed from a legitimate page then say something along the lines of "Like if you think he's brave". It's just the same old **** and people keep liking the posts - these guys are obviously profiting from it in some way, to be honest, it just annoys me.

Anyway, short of deleting the people who keep liking the posts (which isn't out of the question), how do I stop them showing up on my news feed?

FTR - I'm not talking about businesses who are operating social media campaigns, I like to see that.

The only options that I'm aware of would be:
    • Unfriend the people that share these things
    • Go to the friend's page and in the dropdown menu "Friends" (beside "Message") you can set it so that they don't appear in your newsfeed (downside is that you won't see their genuine status updates either [but if they're the type of people who share this crap then you may not want to read their musings anyway])
    • When they post a picture, go to the top right hand corner of the post and the little down arrow. Under subscribed, change it to "Only important updates"

The problem is, you can't block a page you don't know about, it's your friends that are falling for this nonsense that are the problem here.
