    Hi All,
I will be arriving in Bangkok towards the end of July, having spent just under 2 weeks travelling around Cambodia. My plan is to spend 3 days in Bangkok and then go either north to Changmai or south to the islands from there. I am a female, travelling solo, in my late 30's, and looking for ideas for the last leg of my journey. I'm thinking of heading to the islands, but wondering which would be the best to visit. I guess I'm over the 'hectic'party lifestyle, yet I want to be somewhere where I will meet people too. Suggestions SOO much appreciated????

Hi, can't help you re Thailand but sounds like a fabulous trip. Would love to do Asia, have done most other places but Cambodia and Vietnam on to do list. Enjoy your journey, best of luck :-)

You need to read up on what each Island has to offer .It is best to go South after Bangkok if you have not been to the beaches yet imo. I live in Chiang Mai .Its very laid back and more a Culture trip type of place .
