The SLI Hack ?

    Hey i recently purchased two 8800gtx's and only noticed today my motherboard is only crossfire.(im such an idiot) then i heard of a supposed hack...my motherboard is a Asus m4A79XTD Evo and of course u know my graphic's card's .So i need help from people who have done it or know how!

    Thanks man.Turned out my mobo was faulty anyway so rma that **** and get an sli/crossfire board instead.

    All 900 series AMD chipsets should support SLI as well as crossfire. A word of advice: Watch out that you don't buy one with a second slot running at x4 bandwidth (especially watch out in 970 boards).
    The 8800 GTX isn't that fast by today's standards, but if you were to stick in a different pair of cards, you might notice.

    its ok for playing tf2 and cod 4 promo so i dont mind :)

    Well the 8800GTXs not being that powerful in relation to newer cards was more a reference of how newer cards would be limited by the x4 bandwidth of second slots on many 970 motherboards.

    You could run TF2 on integrated graphics!
