With Paddy Power having another wobbler today, what other sites do people use that are good? I like PP cos it is easy to navigate. Thinking of switching to Bet365. Good move or not?

Not being smart but which ever bookmaker us offering the best price. Most have decent websites

Boylesports is easy to navigate and is fast

PP site is very slow - when it is available that is...:)

Paddy's give the bigger price for the hounds if it comes in... Any alternatives that do the same?

Well I just opened an account to with Bet365, their Sportsbook is good, but Live Casino is terrible

Yes, not really the case to be honest is it? Paddy Power has a site, has crashed on many of the big occasions and numerous others. So although there site looks good, it isn't exactly reliable.

If you were to open an account with the site that have the best prices, you would end up betting on every single site on offer, which would be a logistical nightmare and you would find yourself with deposits all over the place.

    So , no, I don't agree

Paddy Power used to be good but if you try and navigate its not the fastest...

    Paddy Power app is good

logistical nightmare?? Slight hyperbole there no? I've accounts with just about every reputable bookmaker. No hassle at all for me

Why take 7/1 with bookmaker A when 9/1 is available with bookmaker B?

Each to their own I suppose.

I think you are being a bit obtuse to be fair. No one wants to be spread between multiple sites. Realistically for the average punter it makes no sense, with different withdrawal rules. Unless you have a horse on NAP that is twice the price with someone else, it be rare to go changing providers.

I don't get what you mean by hyperbole? It makes sense not to have 5 or 6 different accounts just in case of a price difference. sounds mad what you're suggesting.. I believe hyperbole, but about what you are suggesting not what I am

Colonel sanders is 100% correct. Not only do you get the best prices, you get all of the free bets

Other sites I have joined don't take laser cards
And if I use a credit card how can I withdraw any winnings
Didn't think you could withdraw to a credit card.
Only boyles and pp I use because they use laser card

It makes perfect sense to me

Not sure how it's "mad" to suggest you don't take a price due to inertia when a better price is available elsewhere tbh

But as I said each to their own

you've got to have an exchange account, if you get a tip about a 20/1 horse is more than likely gonna be 25/1 or higher on the exchanges

Are you Mastercard? Think there are issues withdrawing money to them alright. no idea why tbh. No problem with Visa. Think a lot of (if not all) banks either have changed or will be changing to Visa debit and I've yet to encounter a problem with anyone not accepting (Betfair system is set up to charge 1.5% of the deposit value on non-UK visa debit transactions but they're refunded)

MasterCard got it into there heads that gambling sites were been used for money laundering, so that's why they stopped it.

Ridiculous opinion. Just withdraw whatever deposits you have at the end of each day and keep them in one base account like moneybookers, to spread amongst the rest. Anyone remotely serious about gambling should have accounts with every bookie. Would you buy a t-shirt in a shop for €40, when it's €30 across the street? It takes about 30 seconds for someone to go on oddschecker to find out the best price, so nobody with a brain should be getting ripped off. The free bets are an added bonus

I see what you mean, but the 3 day turnaround on withdrawals doesn't suit the average punter.

I like being over 2 accounts PP for Casino, 365 for Sports book. If you don't mind having lots of different accounts that's cool. For me it's too much hassle, rather put my time into looking at form etc. Betting can't really be compared to buying a shirt imo, you want to have a reliable account to use on the go by mobile etc. So I don't think it is "ridiculous" it's actually my opinion.

If you want to have 5 or 6 accounts that's great, but I really can't see the benefit

If this is the case, you probably shouldn't have any accounts.

I thought this when I saw the word "casino"

It's exactly the same as shopping. It takes the exact same time to bet with bookmaker A as bookmaker B. Why take a worse price with bookmaker A?

Withdrawing to moneybookers takes anywhere from 1-6 hours. I used to be happy enough just using one of my bank accounts to constantly withdraw and deposit. Urban Sea, I think, put me on to moneybookers, it's a godsend. Most bookies are a lot quicker than 3 day turnarounds nowadays anyway

    Have 5mb broadband

Placing a bet on Boylesports site was way faster than on the PP site...??

    Has anyone else noticed this??

PP is just a slow site anyway, even to navigate takes ages.

One word. One solution. Betfair. Better odds all the time for single win bets and now they trade football accas - they also offer better odds (most of the time) on Accas. Better in playmarkets, ability to lay off liabilty in running and create the wonderful "green screen" Fantastic liquidity on most markets.

Believe the advertising> Betfair. Bookies are for real mug punters.

Boylesports are paying on 6 places and giving cash back if any irish player wins it.

You can often get bigger prices from "traditional" bookmakers than Betfair, especially when looking at morning prices on racing

Add in that the each way terms can often be advantageous and saying "always Betfair" is as silly as saying "always anyone"
