I just want to clarify this because this move has been bugging me. My instructor told me, almost word for word that on the reverse around a corner, touching the kerb is an instant grade 3, and going too wide is an instant fail also.

I am OK at doing this but practiced to keep it tight, but now this has me worried! It sounds very harsh, considering touching the kerb on the turnaround isnt a grade 3.

Afaik it's if you mount the kerb that's when you get a grade three. And for going too wide as long as you can correct it etc you should be good. Hope this helps

If you 'touch' the kerb or go a bit wide it will be a grade 2. If you whack, wallop, mount, scrape all the way or go far out wide it will be a grade 3.
