Driving Nerves

I've been learning how to drive for the past month, just practicing a little with my parents a couple of times a week. They want me to get used to the car a bit before I start my official lessons. However, I feel as though I'm getting more nervous and wound up every time I get into the car. Things that were easy when I started, like simply reversing out of my driveway, I am now struggling with. I'm getting very worked up over every mistake and feel the task is growing more intimidating. Does anyone have any advice for overcoming nerves and panic while driving? I really don't want to have this problem going into my driving lessons or God forbid when I'm doing my test in the future.

Get started on your proper lessons. You don't need that much practice. Your ADI will be used to nervous drivers and will help to calm you down and fix whatever problem you are having at the time.
That and take a drive somewhere enjoyable rather then just going out for the practice?

Lessons will give you the knowledge/experience that will help you get over the nerves. I've been driving for a few months now and was very nervous at the start too, it is perfectly normal and will get easier/better.
