I need to e-mail the current TD for health James O Reilly.

Is james.reilly@oireachtas.ie the only known way of contacting him?

    Thanks.

    It's James Reilly.

A quick google for "James Reilly TD" throws up the following on the first page of results.

http://www.dohc.ie/about_us/ministers/ <- has both constituency and departmental email addresses

The email address you have for him is fine.
I believe it may also work as "@oir.ie" but I am not 100% sure.

you could also try his Department's office email - minister's_office@health.irlgov.ie

Really not difficult to find. If you can use boards surely you can use Google.

If it is a matter relating to his position as Minister then you should probably use the health address, if it is a constituency issue, then use the oireachtas one.

That's the protocol, as I have learned from past experience when contacting Government Ministers.

You can of course also write to him by post to either his Department Office, Leinster House or his constituency office.

It's a reasonable question, no need to jump down anyone's throat. TDs often have Oireachtas, department, party, and other contact details, so it's not clear which is best to use and when. It's not a question of laziness, the OP obviously found the Oireachtas address themselves.

Incidentally this is the reason why I put together publicrepresentative.com ;) Only has Oireachtas contact details at the moment, but I'm working on it...

Handy little site and sensible layout.

    Nice work.

OP, the best thing to do is to email it all the contacts you can find in the hope that someone will get it. Remember, the Minister will not actually read your email without it being vetted first by his staff so if you send it to all the email addresses you can find for him, you have more of a chance for it to get through!
