Hey I just got a new job and I need to bring in my P45, thing is I don't know where I get it from? I work on a casual basis in the Aviva Stadium but I have no need to leave my employment with them as its so casual it be handy to just keep.

Any idea where to get it?

You wont need one, ask your new job to put you on a week 1 basis and gp to the tax office with a payslip from both jobs, they will send out tax credits to each job for you. You could ring the tax office too if that suited. You may have to claim back tax in a few weeks if ypu over pay now while waiting for it to be sorted.

Would the situation be changed if I decided to leave the Aviva?

Yeah you would move all your tax credits and USC credits to your new job.

You don't have one, so of course you cannot bring it. And you cannot get one until you leave the old job.

If they're really insistent, offer to do a form P46 or even a Form12 for the.

As you are already employed, you can't get a p45 from your employer unless you want to quit.
Since you are going to be working in two jobs, why not get your new employers paye registered number (7 didgits with a letter at the end) and call your local PAYE 1890 service. Tell them how much you have earned already in the first job and what you are likely to earn for the year in it. This will help Revenue determine how much rate band and credits to leave with your first job and how much to transfer to the new job.
