Unsure Career Path/How hard is it to get a Job from Archaeology aboard

    Hi,
Im going into a my final year of my course at DKIT doing Digital Humanities, doing English and Archaeology with a small computer element. Last Summer I was able to do a months excavation in the summer with my lecturer. While on the dig there were a number of people doing a PHD and they seemed quite bleak and didnt know what their next step was going to be.

I guess this questioned my thinking of Archaeology. I kinda began to think maybe focus on a more museum sector/visitor centre area of history/Archaeology. But that seems just as bad as a career in Archaeology at the minute. But then I think of my time last year doing the dig how kinda fun it was almost. And now Im thinking maybe about leaving this country after I finished my course or after a masters. And trying to travel the world a bit, so Im just wondering what are the jobs like aboard? And where do you find out about them?

Or my other option is do a diploma in computers and try and get a job in the IT sector.
