Wanted: Pedals & Advice

Newbie buying his first set of clip in pedals, anyone have any recommendations?

I was looking at these, thoughts?

i got 105 pedals as my first ones, have done me great for a few years.
i am selling a set of wheels, and if i sell them i will be upgrading my pedals.
i'd be happy to give you my 105's and you'd see if you like the clip ins.
they are defo the way to go.
no worries if you dont want my old pedals.

I have used those r540's, cant go wrong with them.

they are similar to mine, good pedals.
