Anyone near the left side of the 18th green on Sunday when McIlroy finished?
He threw his ball into the crowd and a couple of seconds later there was a cheer from the grandstand (like someone caught it) and a second later there was shouts for a doctor.
I was too far away to see anything, but 5 minutes later there was an Ambulance at the spot he threw the ball to and a few minutes later it sped off with sirens going.

Clearly someone wasn't ready to catch it.

I saw Harrington role it into the crowd/kids at the front, when he finished his rounds, which I thought was a safer idea

In the usual scrum when a pro throws a ball to the crowd I bet someone slipped and snapped a limb in their over zealous attempt to claim a ball.
