    I have found through fund raising for the RNLI that the best way to maximise a piece of serious rugby memorabilia is to place it towards the end of an auction at which there is lots of drink taken. I once got £2,000 at an auction for a signed rugby ball - all the Ulster ERC winners from 1999. Hic!
