    Hi guys,

    Is there a formula for calculating a handicap cut? My away result is on Golfnet but handicap displays the same. I've read that you must cut yourself before playing again though.

    Hi,

    there is a good few threads here explaining handicap calculations so if you do an advanced search you will find them.

    Category 1 (up to 5.4): points above CSS x 0.1
    Category 2 (up to 12.4): points above CSS x 0.2
    Category 3 (up to 19.4 - need to check that): points above CSS x 0.3

    If it is up on GolfNet well you should see what the cut will be even if it hasn't been deducted yet. Just look at the red figure with the - sign beside it in the HA colum
