Advantages of Two SIII's?

The wife is looking to change from her desire and i've been good enough to narrow the choice down to either a one-x or an SIII.

Honestly I think the one-x is better for her as spec wise I don't rate either higher than the other and she does like sense.

My question is what sort of stuff can we do with two SIII's that we can't with different phones. I've seen s-beam and the share shot feature which doesn't strike me as being that useful when we live in the same house.

Am I missing something else? Or some other software specific feature that might be useful on the Samsung?

There's nothing you won't be able to do with either. AFAIK you can use WIFI-Direct on both of them which is essentially the same as S-Beam. They both have NFC as well

With S-Beam, you can transfer anything from one phone to the other with hassle. Just put them back to back.

The alternative to this with most other phones , "Sharing a photo" to GMail and emailing it to your better half, then she receive and save it to her phone.

Or, saving audio or video files to your PC/Laptop and then moving them from PC/Laptop to her phone.

Of course, the alternative is for Bluetooth transfer but that can take hours for big video files.

I tried NFC / WIFI Direct / S-Beam here in work. Bloody marvelous. It took only 3 to 5 minutes to transfer a 1GB~ file. Would have taken multiple hours over bluetooth and 10 ish minutes using a PC as an intermediary. Very handy.

as Griffdaddy said above. There is wifi-direct transfer on HTC One X too. Which is essentially the same thing as s-beam
