Ati 5450/6450 is just what you need. you can get them on ebay brand new for less that 38e including shipping although theyre selling some on adverts byt IMHO theyre over priced.

I was lucky to get 1gb GTS 450 for 35e on adverts, there's a lot of good deals there.

Hi, just opened the tin and I have a 300w psu and ATI-X550 256Mb gfx.
With the system already posted and a tight budget any recommendations of a upgrade for both.
Graphics card posted by freeze4real needs min 650W psu :-)

Neither of those cards needs a 650W PSU, I'd imagine a 300W would run those comfortably, they're not powerful cards.

Hunting around the web its suggests that GFX (HD5450 ) card needs

"400 Watt or greater power supply recommended" I also saw 350w mentioned.

Why are you trying to upgrade the gfx anyway? You said you don't use it for gaming.

There might be some benefit to streaming but it will make naff all difference to photoshop.
