expedia.ie checking in at airport

I have a flight booked to Oz with expedia, first part with aer lingus second with Malaysian airlines. expedia recommends checking in online but I would rather not.
Does anyone know if I can just turn up at the airport and aer lingus will check me in on all my flights and check my bags straight through?

This is what Iv always done on long haul flights but with expedia reccomending checking in online im not sure what to do. Checking in online would mean checking in with the two airlines seperately so would this mean I would have to collect bags and go through security again for my connecting flight?

You will be able to check in at the airport and Aer Lingus has an interline agreement with Malaysian so they will check your bags right through to your final destination as it is all booked on one ticket.
