First Car Question

    Hi guys.
I turned 17 a while back, and am doing my theory test in two weeks. My only problem is that my parents drive an Audi a6 and a Mitsubishi space wagon. My dad has both cars insured in his name and has open insurance on both cars. He has no problems with me driving his a6, but I'm worried I'll end up crashing it.

I work as a bicycle mechanic and also sell bikes for a profit, so I have a bit of mobey saved up. I'm thinking of buying a 2000 Mitsubishi lancer. It can be added to my dads insurance policy and tax is only €350 a year (I think).

Does anyone think this is a good idea? Or should I look for something smaller or just drive the a6?
