Does anyone know if you are charged for using endomondo especially the Map for tracking your route?

I don't know if the app charges but I doubt it. You have to download maps though as you go so data charges would apply for all that.

I don't know if it works with this one but with Cardiotrainer (a much better app IMO), you can turn on GPS, leave data off and do your exercise and when you connect at home, it will just render the map and plot the GPS co-ordinates for it.

You don't need mobile data on for GPS to plot your exericse route on a map in other words.

I would be surprised if this app didn't do something similar (I remember trying it a while ago but don't think it had as many features as Cardiotrainer).

No charges aside from whatever data charges are incurred from normal downloading of data - the app only uses a pittance of my allowance over a month. According to my data manager its only used 3mb the last month.

On sale at moment for 1euro well worth it!

    It does exactly that :)

I use endomondo, your not charged. Track your location using GPS, it uses more battery so un selected it after you use it. But it doesnt charge. If you used wireless network to track your location you'd be charged fby your mobile provider for using the internet via your mobile...
