I use entertainment.ie for checking out whats on TV. But does anyone know if there is a site or something where you can search to see when a particular programme is on?

    My favourite is www.epguides.com

If you want to keep track of what shows you watch and when you watch them, set up an account on www.myepisodes.com and add all of your favourite shows there.

If you want an alert for a particular show (or actor or presenter), LocateTV is good http://www.locatetv.com/ .

You can set up an account, select which channels you receive and add your favourite shows/movies/actors/presenters.

They send you an e-mail once a week with a personalised schedule for free.

    Worth a look.

TVNow.ie looks great at first, but then you find out it is really a UK site with a ".ie" branded URL. So many of the links to "Watch Online" require you to be located in the UK. They make no distinction as to the fact you are located in Ireland. It would be great to have a tv listings site that knows there are only a few sites to watch live or on demand.
