A theoretical question about drug planting

    What if I arrived back from holidays to Dublin airport to realise that someone had planted drugs in my suitcase. Would I just walk up to the nearest Garda and say "Hey look, someone put this in my bag, but you can have it".

    What if it happened in Singapore where they have mandatory death sentence? I'm just curious, because this seems like a hypothetical situation which has a very high probability of happening. Particularly if one is travelling in SE Asia.

    Tell the Irish police -- assist them in their investigation to clamp down on this. Alternatively, just dump the material.

    Seek legal advice in SE Asia.

    How do you know I'm not already in practice. It would be the first client I ever met with a theoretical what if I was caught smuggling drugs in a jurisdiction in Asia.

    No. You have to hand it over to a special drug disposal agent. Who can take the dangerous contraband and have it destroyed.

    And just as it happens, by coincidence. I happen to be a special drugs disposal agent. Send me a PM and I'll drop over to your house and pick up the drugs for safe disposal and destruction.

    Don't go near the guards with it. They'll try to frame you so they'll get a big splash in the Indo. Or the bad ones, the really bad ones, the Harvey Keitels, will break your neck and take the drugs and sell them.

    Send me a PM. And let us get rid of these evil drugs safely.
