Mine was down this morning for a little while but that was because of the storm lastnight. It was fine in booterstown earlier.

Mine is off since yesterday in Grantstown. It came back for a little bit but was so slow a dialup modem would have been quicker. Thank feck me phone can be used as a wifi hotspot. 2.68 mbps aint bad for 3G

Im not a million miles from Grantstown Park so it might be worth ringing in to log the fault because a friend working in there said they can send out an outside technician but only when they think its an area fault. Save us all getting the house technicians out only to have them escalate it.

heard Sky broadband is coming in the autumn. I hate UPC and their nasty little letters saying the price is going up and it's outside their control. If Sky can offer the same speed at a lower price I'll be switching on day one.

Broadband finally was back in Grantstown yesterday. All HD channels were gone as well. Down since thunder storms. Not good enough UPC. Have a service call scheduled for today so cancelled.

If Sky do it, it will be over Eircom lines. So if you're happy with those speeds......
