    Is it common for the injuries board to send you to a psychiatrist to access your claim ?

    if there is a claim of mental injury it would be expected wouldn't it?

    Id agree, if there was some sort of mental injury/issue it needs to be quantified. Post traumatic stress, phobias, flashbacks, personality/pschiatric issues post traumatic brain injury, etc?

    Although if the claim is purely psychological, they tend not to make an assessment at all
