Water getting in

My mother drives a 06 corsa and for the past while there has been water somehow getting into the back of the car.
The footwell behind the drivers seat always seems to be wet!
When she had it in for a service they had a look and said it was the door seal which they changed, although this didn't change anything!!

I've had a good look around the car and can't find any signs of moisture around the doors and the underside of it looks fine aswell!

Thing is its just the footwell, so if it was coming in from around the door, you'd imagine seats would also be damp so it must be from the underside??

    Anyone experience this, any ideas??

With the drivers door shut i'd stick tissue paper in around the edges of the door, that might help you to find out where the water's getting in.

Sounds like a failed vapour barrier in the door. Had to fix mine on the BMW. You should notice the bottom inside edge of the door wet if it is.
