What a pop for Austin and seeing Foley win the title (being a big Foley fan) was great.

The only thing that could have made it better was if JR was on commentary that night.

Watching a couple of those clips got me wondering, how many guys these days would get a reaction like Foley did when he won the title?
That was the night WWF started winning again after Bischoff announced Foley would win, wasn't it?

It was Tony Schiavone (under Bischoff's instruction of course) who announced Foley was going to win the WWF Championship and followed with that's going to but butts in seats.

And yes the WWE started winning again from that night.
