What's with the rabbit? Was that there when you got there

The whole thing looks a little strange to me to be Honest. Little or no blood or fur where rabbit was eaten. Did you find the feather sticking in the post like that:confused:. Why do you say they are taking the piss? Maybe if they took one of the pheasants on you but its good idea to leave a few carcasses around so the birds of prey can eat instead of wasting their energy trying to hunt your pheasants. Also looks like a great feeding perch for a bird of prey you made which is obviously not ideal for a pheasant feeder so maybe make a few adjustments.

I agree something not right about this
Is this a way to get angry and start killin birds of prey cuz they are taking pheasants
I'd rather see birds of prey taking them than being shot to be honest I shoot them aswell but I hunt with a hawk also
But the kill ratio of a hawk to pheasant is very small
Very few hawks can actually catch a pheasant and when they do a pheasant is extremely strong and a lot of hawks find it hard to actually kill them

I don't understand this thread - a half eaten rabbit and a feather which could come from any number of birds:confused:

Must have used his tomahawk to chop the rabbit in half.

Sorry the late reply lads,I was at training

The pic is not staged, that is how I found it apart from the feather stook in the post,I just stuck it there while I took the photo

I picked the feather up just over the fence about 5 meters away but as said it could have come from anywhere,I picked it up as I've seen them in the field a few times

As said there is no blood so I was thinking the bunny could have been dropped but I'm sure you you can imagine my reaction when I pulled up,I thought the sparrow hawlks found a new dinner table, what hope will my poults have

Closing this thread as it has little to nothing to do with hunting.

It is more about bird/specie identification which is better suited in the Nature & Bird Watching forum.
