Is probably best to get a professional to do it unless you have experience of fitting shafts.

You need to either buy a surefit adaptor and glue it to the shaft or remove one from an existing shaft and glue it to the new shaft.

It can be done with low heat, a shaft puller and the right glue.

You need a shaft extractor to make sure you dont ruin the shaft coming out of the club.

Graphite shafts are made from basically putting layers of graphite and resin (glue) together if you use too much heat you will basically ruin the tip of the shaft, you need the extractor and a heat gun not a naked flame.

TBH best of going to a pro shop, if you have the 2 shafts/clubs and wanna swap over they wont charge much (30) theres about 1hours work involved TO DO IT RIGHT

Easy job but only when you know how and have correct tools ;)

Thanks guys, I have had the shaft pulled out of a Ping driver already by a local Pro shop, its an Axivcore Red 69. I am hoping its Ok after being pulled, I have since heard that the heating/pulling can damage it, it looks Ok. I am thinking of DIYing it to fit a 910 D2 that I am ballooning with the current shaft, i have no other use for the Axivcore so maybe it will work. Those Titleists have a quick fit system at the end of the shafts so its not like glueing in for fixed head drivers. Has anyone put a 910 adapter onto a shaft before, I would try it myself if straightforward, or do I need to go to the Pro shop again?

If it messes up I have the same shaft with a Multi Compound grip for sale from a D3 (3 months old). PM me if interested.
