Combining saorview and sky back up to attic

    Hi all

    Quick question.

My current setup is aerial and sat cables coming down the side of the house and into sitting room, aerial goes into main tv and the split into sky box, then my rf out goes back up to the attic and feeds the other rooms sky and terrestrial via an amped bypass splitter (for magic eyes).

When I get a saorview box with an rf loop trough can I just rf out from the saorview box into the sky box in order to send rf saorview and sky signal back up to the attic for the other tv's..

    Thanks in advance..

As things currently stand, the aerial should 1st go to Sky box RF in, then RF1 to the main tv & RF2 to the attic, no need to split the aerial feed.

When you get the Saorview box, connect RF1 to its aerial-in & loop to the main tv if you still want the analogue channels on it. The Saorview signal is decoded by the receiver & the resulting video & audio sent to the tv via HDMI or scart.

Saorview boxes do not have the Sky box ability to output a UHF analogue version of the decoded signal, so you'll have to get a separate modulator if you want this facility & combine its output with the Sky RF2.
