    Hello There.

Just looking for some advise on which company and what type of trek to book for Machu Picchu in October. Any tips on this would be great as I would need to do it soon.

I highly recommend LlamaPath. They treat the porters really well - they all had good quality gear and footware. The food was excellent, and Marco the guide was great. Worth every penny

Lots of companies around who treat their porters like sh*t and I'd hate to do the trip with them

Edit - did the 4 day trek. Fantastic. I'd do it again

Permits are sold out for the first 2 weeks in October, so you should hurry on up :D

Doing it through Gap adventures myself in a couple of weeks, cant wait!

Gap were the other company that impressed me at the time with how they treated their porters
