    For Sale - 56cm Merida Alu Frameset, Forks and Headset - used for last few years as winter bike, in decent condition with a few scrapes and that after a few years to be expected but no crashes, frame straight no dents in tubes etc. - 7005 tubing, so light enough for a lower end aluminium frame.

    Can collect in Waterford/South Tipp area -

    €65 ---

    Is this still for sale?
    Might sound like a ridiculous question, but what would I need to turn this into a road/racer bike? Im a bit of a beginner when I comes to cycling. How much would I be looking at and are parts etc readily available new and secondhand?

    Wheels, sat post, seat, stem, handlebars, STI levers (gear leavers and break in one), de-reailer front and rear, bottom bracket, cranks, pedals, cables, cable housing and bar tape...

    Might have missed something.

    @watch999 - Id personally recommend you are probably better off seeking out a complete bike if you are a beginner
