Hi all iv recently roofed a house and the owner has asked me to insulate the rafters(slope ceiling) with 100mm kingspan sheets? i presume this is ok to do as there willl still be a 2 inch gap behind the insulation for air to circulate throughout the roof?is this insulation suitable for the slope of the roof?

its the very same material used in the roof and floor, but the success of the insulation will be down to the workmanship in the installation. They are very difficult to install without leaving gaps all over the place.

ya thought that, rafterlok is a lot more expensive for some reasons(slots cut for air circ?) so he is goin with sheets for floor... its not so bad once you take your time! measure twice and cut once!!:D

I cut it three times and it's still short.
