    Hello,

I've got a 1997 Seat Inca van and while the windscreen wipers work on all
speeds, including intermittent, there is no wash/wipe when I pull the stalk
    back.

Is it likely to need a replacement stalk/assembly?

    Thanks!

    :)

Check for battery voltage at the motor (12V), if nothing check fuses. If all okay, it's probably the switch.

I'd say the motor would be more likely to be at fault than the switch.
