Travelling on a long flight with a connection in Amsterdam, ticket is issued by KLM but first leg (DUB-AMS) is codeshare with Aer Lingus.

We have a 3 year old who still uses buggy a lot.

Aer Lingus says you are only hallowed a buggy if the child is under 2 but the guy on the phone said you can chance it in the airport.

Has anyone travelled in the same situation recently? If yes could you tell me how did Aer Lingus treat you.

    Thanks
    MD

    Hey MD

Just wondering how you got on with this?

We are in the same position as you were and we have been told different things depending on who in Aer Lingus answers the phone.

We are travelling to the US just before Christmas. We have a 4 hour stop over which will be a long 4 hours carrying a cranky 2.5yr old :)

    Thanks D

Travelled with a buggy and and (almost) 3 year old earlier in the year with no difficulty. I've never seen ground staff refuse a buggy for any child in all my time travelling - not even on Ryanair!
