Small claims procedure

    if a business does a job and do not do it right and refuse to correct it, how do you determine how much to claim from the small claims court to have another person fix it

    Should you get an estimate from the other person. Also can you claim back the 25 small claims fee

    Yes, get estimates, and not just one.

    No, you can't claim back that €25 fee.

    I have looked at my receipt and there is no mention of the company. But I have a photocopy of the cheque which is made out to bloggs and bloggs ***********[ type of business] When I look at cro.ie there is not a registration for that name. The small claims form says one has to have correct legal name of respondent. How can i confirm that
