GTA IV in 2012?

    How does GTA IV hold up visually nowadays? I remember when it came out in 2008 a mate got it and the graphics were immense as well as the gameplay. I'm thinking of picking it up for the PS3 (I've been told the PS3 version is better than the 360 due to the initial mandatory install). Does the game still hold up or is it pretty outdated nowadays?

    GTA4 has aged very well, but for a better experience I would recommend picking up the the two episodes from liberty city (specifically The ballad of gay tony).

    Rockstar made a lot of mistakes with GTA4 (forced friendships with characters you didn't care about, repetitive mission structure, a slow first third of the game) but they corrected all these mistakes with the episodes which are far better imo.

    Do you have a ink to GTA V gameplay? I've seen a quick trailer but no gameplay. Think I'm going to get IV. Now I need to find the special edition somewhere online.

    No, I don't, sorry. My brother mentioned it to me but I never got around to looking it up.
